The starting point for the video project are video and audio recordings of flying animals at dusk. Upon closer inspection, they appear as bats. Their ultrasonic sounds for orientation in space and to locate their prey are acoustically transformed by bat detector into audible sounds.

The viewer drives the video with his own muscle power by a bicycle. The situation is as if we were riding a bicycle at night: Thrown back on ourselves we create visual images and intensely perceive sounds – but only as long as we are pedalling.
